BARN FIND PADDED TOPS

The Dusters Car Club from Sweden reported this incredible find of several early customs with padded tops on their web blog

The blog shows a few photos of a barn with a collection of early Custom Cars and Hot Rods. Several of them have chopped windshield and padded tops.
According to the blog the cars have been sitting there for a long time and the owner has no interest in getting them back on the road. Which is a real shame of course The cars looks to be all done in the 1940’s and have been sitting there most likely since the 1950’s or so. Collecting dust and with parts on top of them.

The blog unfortunately only shows a few small photos and with no info on where they were taken. By the looks of it the barn holds a 1936 Ford Roadster with Pines grille. Hard to see if the windshield and top are chopped or not.

There is a 1939 Ford convertible with chopped windshield and padded top and shaved door and hood. There is also a 33-34 Ford roadster in the barn… and a lot of fenders and who knows what else.

Very interesting find.. and hopefully more photos will show up soon.. or even better the cars will see the light of day and put back on the road.
