Clarence Patterson 39 Ford Restored

SLICK CUSTOM RESTORED

The Restored 1939 Ford Custom Convertible is Debuting at the 2014 Detroit Autorama.

Tom VanNortwick shared some photos of the freshly restored 1939 Ford on his Facebook. The 1939 Ford was in bad condition when the team started the restoration not really to long ago. An now the car has been Chosen for the Preservation award at the Detroit Autorama Show.

We will post more photos as soon as we find them.

  • Wow, the car really looks great! They sure did that one quickly, I thought it was going to take years for it to get finished. I’ve always liked this car, it’s nice to see a ’40 Ford that has a custom grill and other changes that we don’t usually see. I’d love to see it in person. Thanks for posting this!

  • I love this car! It has just enough of that unique early ’50s restyling to make it different, yet still classy. I think there is a fine line that can be crossed with that, but this car shows restraint while still being wild and using parts off of a number of different makes. I love the slanted A pillars and Nash grill. It seems as if the car is even more striking today than it appeared in old pictures. Beautiful job on the restoration, too!
