Haven’t posted in a while here are some recent pics of the newly installed Navarro regular dual intake and two stromberg 97s . I also acquire a rare eastern auto parts radio trim piece NOS in the box. Which I was pretty happy about

    Paul (HR),

Did you have to do much work to the radio plate to get it to fit?

I picked up an aftermarket radio plate for my 41, but it will need plenty of work to fit. Faceplate angle is wrong, etc.

It looks the same as yours, but I’m not sure it’s Eastern Auto.

hi. There are two different radio plates. One for zenith radio and one for philco radio. You need to determine what type of radio you have. Sounds like you have the wrong plate for your radio. If the plate is for the right radio is should fit with our any adjustments at all. Hope this helps and good luck

Many thanks. Yes, of course – the different radio types!

I’d gutted a radio for a bluetooth conversion, so I’m not sure which one I started with!

Pretty much kept the faceplate, and frame only. It just hadn’t occurred to me the Zenith and Philco would have different face angles relative to the knobs.

No drama, the angle grinder will come in handy.

    Dig your ride BTW!

Glad it was sorted out talbot. People forget the two different radios. It’s such a nice piece to use on the 41

Here are some New dash knobs from Chris at polyking custom polymers. These are hand made and designed especially for my 41 Ford. Beautiful attention to detail and care went into these knobs .
