    i needed to change the position of the bulbs, and decided to make room for them at the top. so i fabricated this box
    that really helped, and the light are way better now.

    this is just a fast mockup..but shows how the light is all over the plate

    Can’t remember what the earliest sunken plate we have found but here is a Duesie with a sunken plate. Looks to be about 34, 35, 36 ish. Also interesting to see it has a vinyl or leather covered upper body.

    Paul Garland did one recently on a Chevy he chopped several years ago…
    I really love the look on these on the 1940-48 chevies.
