the rodders journal magazine held it’s 2nd annual show in baltimore maryland this past weekend. there were tons of cool traditional hot rods and drag cars, but more importantly there plenty of great customs! here some of the stuff that caught my eye. loved the look of this chopped and sectioned coupe
one of many really clean cool shoeboxes

That is Curly Tremayne’s 1950 Merc… very famous Mercury from the early 1980’s. It was done at Rod Powell’s shop were Curly worked. This car was used in a lot of magazines back then in articles on How To chop your 49-50 Mercury. Rod Powell’s airbrushed dash is still in place as well.

October 1, 2013 at 06:23 #6186Rik HovingKeymasterThank you Mike for the excellent photos of the custom cars at this event.
I had already seen some on facebook. But your set of photos shows there were a lot more customs at the event that I had thought there were. And some very nice one.
The Larry Ernst inspired Chevy with the Caddy rear fenders is very nice. And so is the in progress ’54 Plymouth, just to name a few.
Very nice event!Enjoy the beauty of Customizing
