On May 7th, 2018 Jim McNieL (owner of the Original BARRIS Hirohata MERC) passed away due to heart failure.
My sincere condolences go out to him and all his family and friends.
Thank you so much for buying the Hirohata Mercury when nobody was interested in it anymore, held on to it for all these years, restored it to its former glory and and shared it with the public all around the globe.

I meet Jim and his wife at Elmia carshow in Sweden 2013 , the nicest people and a life memory for me seeing the Hirohata for the first time .
