No, the top was not made. The car was sitting in line at Martinez industries to get the top grille and many other things handled when Billy decided for the stretch. So only the unfinished work on the welded rear door was ālostā.

“On top off all the things going on here, we are preparing the 35 phaeton for it’s stretch. The floors are being cut out and replaced. To many patch jobs on it to reuse it. And the trans tunnel will need a bit more work after the frame is stretched.”

“Both outer rails are bent. Time to prep for welding.”
“Both outer frame sections are in. Time to make the inner rails and connect the X-member again. Then I’ll box the section of frame.”

Waiting on parts from the parts store to get the brake and fuel lines back together.”

Now to get the beads layed out for strength.”
