Originally restyled in the late 1980’s by Dick and Keith Dean, later redone with Packard grille by Scott Guildner for Ron Martinez. The car was neglected over the last decade or so, and recently completely redone by Scott for a new owner. Scott modified the frame and added a stock front end after it had been updated with a too wide sub-frame back in the 1980’s. And now all finished in a beautiful dark red. I heard the car is for sale as well. but at this moment I do not have the details on that. Drew Guy shared the photos.

“Highlight of the weekend Portland Roadster Show was meeting Leroy Kremmerer. ORIGINAL owner of the “Jade Idol” that was finished in November 1959. Its debut show was San Francisco in January 1960.
I was the 4th owner of car that I purchased in February 1987 at the Sacramento AUTORAMA.
Current owner Tim McMann from Portland is the 6th owner. The 5th owner Billy Belmont from Massachusetts owned it for 31 yrs. We talked KUSTOMS for a very long time….”
