Thanks for the additional pics Rik. I hadn’t seen any of it closed up. I like it a lot. I would go with some different wheels and tires but it is cool.

LOL. I think many of us were looking at that one.

Very cool wagon. Is it possible that the base for the build was a 59 Brougham? There is a guy not far from where I live that has one but that is the only one I have ever seen and I beleive they were handbuilt by an italian coachbuilder and extremly rare.

Yes it was based on a Brougham.

Gorgeous Jag! I really Love it. I’m curious as to the DRIVETRAIN? I see Tilton or some other race type pedals in there…

    Beautifully done car!

Pat Ganhal shared these super neat photos of the Bistagne Bors ’38 Ford on his Instagram. SO NICE!

“The late George Bistagne built this full-custom ’38 convertible sedan when it was one or two years old, working in Roy Hagy’s shop. Besides the obvious changes, one trick was using ’34 Cabriolet side windows at the rear to get the nice curve in the Carson top. I think the 2nd photo was when he sold it to Rudy Vasquez in ’48. Then it disappeared. But the Bistagne Bros. body shop, just down the road from my house, is still the best in Glendale, CA.”

Re; the Jag, I am not surprised and was hoping that was the type of drivetrain used. Very Very Cool!
