The rear fenders look like they might come of an 38-40 Ford, front fenders perhaps 38-39 Ford with the wheel openings cut out. But perhaps its something completely different… Anybody knows? I kind of like it, inspiring.

Nice… I like the body shape. I recognized it from some of my fathers books or magazines, but it still took me bit to identify it as a German Hanomag Type 13.

This has been driving me nuts. The pics came from someone else via their Instagram, with no details.
At first I was convinced that someone had gone to town on a VW Beetle, but while looking, it became obvious that a lot of pre war German and Czech cars had similar styling. I thought maybe AutoUnion/DKW. IFA is another one I had never heard of.
Paul Coleman from the UK has this beautiful Shoebox that was chopped by Custom Car legend Willie Wilde in the US. He recently added a new nice shade of maroon semi gloss paint.
