“Our good friend Manuel Reyes came by the shop today for some suspension work on his amazing 36. We were able to get him all dialed in without too much difficulty. (Thank God we didn’t really want to start cutting and welding on his frame) Manuel was a custom painter/pinstriper in the 60’s/70’s he painted the flames on the “California Kid” along with many other customs and race cars. We got to spend a great day and lunch with him telling us stories of hot rodding back in the day.”

Great to see it outside , the indoor show pictures gets to busy with all the different lights ! Thanks for posting these pictures !!

April 5, 2018 at 21:31 #57892Dave (a.k.a. rodncustomdreams)ParticipantThe Draggins held their 58th annual Rod & Custom show this past Easter weekend, and although it was as large as ever with many never before shown cars, there still seems to be a lack of customs being done locally.. Â Here are three in the style we go for:

April 10, 2018 at 06:03 #57963Rik HovingKeymasterJeff Spence posted these two photos of the “Rocketeer” Studebaker he recently spotted in Medford Oregon.
This one made a big impression on my many years ago when it was in all the magazines. I always thought it was a little bit to street rodded… But my eyes choose to see it with white wall tires and some neat hubcaps… and the new maroon paint makes me want to see it with other wheels and tires even more….
