Okay, I look like a genius now after reading the article  😉   Save your applause for later!  Ha, ha.

I hope Rik is able to keep track of the re-do process for us.

Love the old B&W photos; and there is something even more special when there are folks in the image, or the vehicle is just parked in its every-day environment!  Candid pictures of people enjoying/admiring the cars or the image grabbed by the photographer as he/she happens by.  The best!

I had posted the Cerny Auto Paint shop photo also on my Facebook page, and George his son David Cerny replied to my message with this great photo and the following information.

    David Cerny
“I had a lot of wonderful years at my fathers paint shop in Compton as a teenager I work there sanding cars and spending time with my family when I was 16 my father passed on the 1950 Plymouth wagon to me and I had it for several years so many people would come by and see what’s going on I have the Plymouth back but still unable to finish restoring it when I had it I painted it purple so many wonderful memories”

And here is a photo David shared some time ago, an earlier version of the Cerny Plymouth Shop Truck.

The guys at Manns Restorations (who have recently did the beautiful restoration of the Sam barris 1950 Buick for Kurt McCormick) have another Barris Kustom in the shop. This time some work is planned on the late 1950’s restyled Barris Kustom 1955 Chevy for Jim Seaton.

They just shared some great pictures on their Facebook.
