Hello everyone. I am glad to be part of the CCC. I thought I would share some of the vintage style tropy builds I have done for several car shows here in California to include Billetproof, Grand National Roadster Show (Suede Palace) and Nor Cal Knockout. Over the years since the newest revival of 1930’s-1960’s Hot Rods and Kustom cars, I have noticed that there are many people/Car Clubs that make a variety of trophies to give away. Many of the ones I have seen had many hours of time and talent put into them, however the trophy doesn’t look anything like what you would have recieved by a traditional car from the past. So I saved and collected many vintage trophy photos and I tried to use those as the models fr my own vintage design. I don’t do this as a business, just a hobby. Enjoy everyone!

I saw some photos of your work on Facebook, and I’m really happy you show them here as well.I had seen photos of the old trophies, wonderfully made of wood, brass and marble. When I was at the Sacramento Autorama for the Mercury Gathering in 2009 I took a quick look behind the curtains were all the trophies for that show were waiting to be given away to the winners. I could not believe how plastic and fake those looked. And how people could be really happy with them, or even put them in their own homes after winning the awards.
But for your trophies… I would be extremely proud to win one of those, and put that in a prominent place in my home. Those really bring back the memories from the early days of car shows.
Please show more photos of your work if you have.Enjoy the beauty of Customizing

They show elegance and class to me,just like the cars they were for back then.Im glad to hear that others really dig the old awards. I think it’s cool that clubs make trophys but im not really into the modern day examples.Im not really a fan of camshafts, pistons, cranks, flywheels all tacked together.Just some of my personal tastes.
