A beautiful truck for sure. Plus the pride of knowing you did it yourself.
If the bottom edge of the rubber continues to be problematic you might want to consider a strip of trim. Boat rub rail comes to mind as you can get it in lengths. It comes in Aluminum or Stainless steel.

Well it’s been a while again. 🙁 I had some electrical issues that took me forever to sort out. All bad parts (went through 4 alternators to get a good one)so that made it extra frustrating. Then they were doing road work in front of my house so didn’t have access from the driveway to the street for a month. Finally got a chance to take it out for a quick spin yesterday. Running rough and a few more issues presented themselves but that was expected and why I wanted to do a short test drive.
