Just colour sanding and polishing parts. Here are a couple more pieces done. Â I have the bed and running boards left to do.

Your secret’s safe with us Ian! Â Sad to say, but you may have to move more bits indoors as summer is coming to an end – sigh.. Â Good news is: you have the winter to put it all together! Â See you at the Draggins’ show at Easter!!! Â Heh, heh.

Haha Thanks. Yeah unfortunately it looks like it might be but who knows with the weather it was 28 here Monday and is suppose to go down to -2 tonight so a bit of a swing.
September 14, 2017 at 16:06 #53509TorchieParticipantLooks great Ian!
I always laugh when I se pics like the one you posted of the fenders in the house.
Back when I was younger you could always tell a real biker from a wannabe by the fact that the real bikers kept their rides in the house. 🙂

And the reminder I scribbled on the wall from when I was fitting everything together before paint. 🙂

September 29, 2017 at 04:50 #53919Dave (a.k.a. rodncustomdreams)ParticipantOkay. Â Now the excitement is really starting to build!
Reminder on the wall – ha, ha! Â I had little “notes to self” all over the place while doing mine.. Â Of course in my case old age prevents me from remembering stuff without them!! Â Looking good Ian!

I have been wondering how you are progressing Ian. Looks Great !.
I write stuff on the back of my shop door. LOL
I’m still searching for a new project but it looks like it may be back to wooden boats for me so I am getting my customs fix by watching what you and others are doing.

That and the fact that, as I have heard from others, nothing seems to go back together quite as easily on final assembly (or I misjudged the order things had to be assembled) means things have been a little slow. The grill shell assembly took a frustratingly long time to get everything together on.

Sorry to hear that you caught your cold so early this year (hope it’s the only one you catch). Â Now, where are your post-its??
Dave
p.s. Â The grill looks even better now with the colour surrounding it!
