On the main site we posted an article about the Leo Lyons 1950 Mercury getting ready to be restored to how it looked on the February 1960 issue of Custom Cars Magazine.
The car is now owned by co-Geoff Hacker from Florida and the plan is to get work started in a couple of weeks.
Below are some photos Geoff send of how the car now looks.
If you have any photos of this car from back in the early 1960’s please post them here or contact us. Geoff is looking for more info to do the best possible restoration.We will of course keep you up to date on the restoration…

What’s the story on the car/truck in the driveway of the 4th color photo? El Camino/Corvair. Looks like something I’ve seen before that was a racecar transporter.
