Jim McNiel’s family just posted on Instagram that the Hirohata is for sale. Man would it be cool to own. I wonder what it will sell for?

This will be interesting for sure. If indeed the selling price is revealed.

I suspect it will do better the the Golden Sahara did as it will appeal to more people.

That will take some serious money to acquire the Hirohata Merc , how long will it take before its sitting in a museum , possibly side by side with the Golden Sahara 🙂 !! I was fortuned to catch Hirohata Merc in a lineup shot in 2011 thanks to my kustom car buddy Kent Vikmo taking the picture:

If my pockets were deep enough, it wouldn’t be sitting in a museum….I’d be driving the heck out of it. But alas, I’ll have to be content to keep chipping away at converting my current Merc into a clone of sorts. LOL
