Regina DeRosa Fredenburg and John D’Agostino share some great news on facebook.

The Original Frank DeRosa Customs are BACK in Pittsburg CA from the famous late Blackie Gejeian Collection — 1951 Merc 4, debuted in my dads famous gold metal flake and ghost ribbon radical paint Oakland Roadster Show 1976 AND the notorious 1966 Buick Riviera, The Golden Pirahna, shown in 1983 — “Miles of Smiles” folks! Our father is a happy man today!

The Golden Pirahna is perhaps my personal favorite DeRosa Custom. There was a small picture of it in an early 1980’s Chrome and Flames magazine, and I just fel in love with it.I could not believe how they (at the time I did not know the car was done by Frank DeRosa) took this 60’s car and make it look so good with all these 50’s styling elements.

The cars are now beings all cleaned and detailed.

I will be posting more photos when they become available.

Thanks to Regina and John for sharing.

    Enjoy the beauty of Customizing
