Helping to sell this 1936 Ford for a Canadian friend.
Rare original 1936 Ford Rumble Seat Cabriolet
1936 Ford Rumble Seat Cabriolet
- All original FoMoCo body with no plastic filler or fiberglass used during the restoration.
- Car is painted “French Vanilla” by PPG
- Complete frame off restoration rebuild with all modern running gear and 383 Dart block with 6-speed
Camaro Transmission, Mustang front end, ford 9″ rear end with disc brakes. - Car drives perfectly and has currently around 1500 K on it.
- The motor was built by Skip White Performance in Tennessee.
It is all custom with a mild cam pushing about 540 hp - Original Artillery wheels with the rear widened
- Tire size 640R-15 on the back and 155R15 on the front
- The top is new, LeBaron Bonney period correct tan, the bows were original but rebuilt and all the wood is new.
- Interior color/carpet Le Baron Bonnet period correct tan and the carpet is a salt and pepper brown/beige/black
- Steering wheel is a restored period correct 36 banjo
- Gauges are brand new to match original as close as possible, the radio is also original and could work if the car had the amplifier.
- Vintage green tinted glass.
- The car looks period in every way but is very quick with its modern running gear
