The Flatlands Motorama is an all new invitational pre 1968 Traditional Hot Rod and Custom car show in the Netherlands. It is being hosted by Henry Van Uden (Ford Brothers NL) and Miles Sherlock, the owner of JackHammer Hot Rod & Kustom Supply (UK). Henry previously had a very successful show in the Netherlands called Rockin’ Jalopies which ran for 9 years. Miles and some close friend’s put on the critically acclaimed Lead Room in Brighton in 2016 which was a small show dedicated to early custom car styles. He also was part of the team who ran the Hot Rod Hayride for seven years.
The Flatlands Motorama will be held at the Autotron Expo in Rosmalen which offers 10,000 m2 of indoor space over two floors to show off some of the best vehicles that Europe has to offer in this style. Along side will be an outdoor area put aside purely for Hot Rods and Customs also.
As well as the cars there will also be a selection of Vintage Choppers, Custom Pickup trucks and a pre 78 Custom Van show. So plenty of Eye Candy to fulfill everyone’s desires.

Palle Johansen will debut his – already world famous – 1947 Cadillac Padded Top Convertible completely redone as an late 1940’s full Custom Car. With all new paint, upholstery and many new details, of which some have been shared in progress here on the Custom Car Chronicle Forum.
The Cadillac is currently in the paint-booth with a fresh new paint job. And Palle will soon start to put the car back together.

1946 Ford with metal work done by the famous Willie Wilde who owned Wildes Custom Shop in Gonzales, california in the 50s. The car was brought over to the UK a while back and now residing in Germany.
This stunning little Studebaker pick-up will be trundling on over to the Flatlands Motorama next spring from the UK.
The most stunning Kustom Ford from the Netherlands created by Art Van Norel will be at at Flatlands Motorama.
Vincent Wolfs will be displaying the Kandy Devil at the Flatlands Motorama after getting his car back from the GNRS in Pomona Ca.
All the way from Switzerland, Momo is bringing his super stylish Watson inspired ’58 Impala custom.
The show will have Hotrods too…Real ones… Loads of them… Including Adrian “Bob” Broadway’s totally awesome 34 coupe “Psycho”.
Along with all the killer Kustoms and Hot Rods there will also be a smattering of stunning vintage choppers on display organized by Vincent Summers. Included will be this stunning sickle built for the born free show by Small City Cycles.
There will also be a model car show at the Motorama. Come and see the traditional model car show in the main hall with the big guys at the Flatlands Motorama.Enjoy the beauty of Customizing
Why is there a 70’s van in the poster?
My guess is because there is a special section at the show for pre 78 Custom Vans

@steven_n572 is also coming from the UK in his gorgeous Kustom Mercury to be part of the Lead Room display at the Flatlands Motorama this spring. I for one can’t wait to see this car for real.

John and Sally Phillips will be bringing their Kustom duo of micro kustoms to the Flatlands Motorama in two weeks. These are absolutely gorgeous cars so make sure to stop and take a look at all the modifications they have.
