Welcome Dieter, I should think 6.00/16 about right in a ’41 Custom.

Who drives Diamond Back tyres and how good are they?

650 – 16 will probably be tight towards the inside rear wheelwell but 4″ whitewalls is reason enough to cut the inner wheelwells out and enlarge the them !!

White Wall Tires ā€“ Which one to choose.

    Choosing White Wall Tires 2

    Firestone | 3 1/4 Inch Whitewall | 600-16

    Firestone | 4 Inch Whitewall | 650-16

FIRESTONE Bias Ply 650-16 4″ WW

or a set of these ribbed once !

I have both Diamond Back and Coker on my cars. I will only buy Diamond Back in the future.

Hi Dieter,Ā  im Toby from south Germany and i just picked up this 41 Ford yesterday. They could be brothers. Mine are 6.00-16 on the stock 4×16 Rims but i also need to search for new tires. So this is a good thread for me also.
I was also thinking about the Firestone but its a pity they dont have more WW. Also thinking about bf goodrich Silvertown wich i believe got a little bit more whiteĀ 20221102_085732

Hey Toby! Ā Congratulations, great looking car, iā€™m glad youā€˜re back in the business! You should start a new thread with your 41 Ford, i can imagine it wonā€˜t stay stock any longer!
