My very talented woodworking, body work, hiking, and hot rod building friend Dave Dreiling sent me a message tonight with some pictures of a pretty cool ’50 Ford convertible.

This is what he said: “Hi Rob, I was visiting my family in Chicago the other weekend and I came across these pictures taken in 1956 of my dad in his dad’s Ford. I thought they were pretty cool and thought you might like to check them out.”

I asked him if I could share them here on the CCC, so I hope you guys enjoy.

Dave has been incredibly helpful in recreating the top bows and repairing some inner structure wood damage on my dad’s 1936 Ford Phaeton. (More on that later…)

    Enjoy 🙂

    Very cool…

The Crestliner side trim looks so fantastic on these cars.

Thanks for sharing Dave and Rob.
