    i’ve been watching torchie’s cool build on his custom pickup and thought i would post some custom pickups i’ve seen. some famous, some not but all custom. may as well start with the kopper kart clone.

    here’s a really cool ford i came across with a ’51 olds front end grafted on. was really well done but unfortunately was parked under a tree so the pictures aren’t great.

    again, wish the pictures were better on this one.

    I love Custom Pick Up trucks… They have something special.

    Here are a few from my a bit older collection.

    Interesting chopped and section 1940 Ford pick up… Bout this photo on ebay a couple of years ago.. never found any other photos or info on it.

    This one was photographed in the 1980’s early 1990’s, from a collection I bought.

    Barris Kustoms built “Wild Kat”… sadly destroyed in the shop fire.

    I never knew that the Cozzitorto truck was a Winfield creation.

    The pocket magazines had lots of pictures as it changed over the years, but frequently misidentified it with other custom trucks, especially in close-ups. And they always misspelled the owner’s name. As an someone whose Italian last name frequently gets mangled, I can sympathize!
