Looks like an Audi or Merc or Volvo top. It’s the way to go on the big 30s and 40s  cars it’s like the Euro converts were made for this style conversion. The smooth parade boot just transforms the whole look of the car. Thanks to Harley Earl and the Yjob for the concept.  I’m inspired to watch the progress.
Progress on the Lanny Erickson 1956 Chevy recreation rom Santos Kustoms
Painted the front apron, tie bar, filler panels, trunk jambs and some brackets last week. Sanded and buffed the apron and tie bar and put the front back together today. Next up, start figuring out the window regulators and tracks. When I bought this car it came all apart in boxes and I didn’t take it apart so it’s been like a puzzle when it’s time to figure out where parts go and what nut and bolts go where but I can see the light and the end of the tunnel.
