Restoration of the Lyle Lake “Blue Danube” 1951 Buick recreation.
The recreation of the Lyle Lake Buick was originally created for Jack Walker in 1997. The car is now owned by Lou Schafer & Sons and they performed the restoration, improving on the car.

Rik you said it is currently being redone but the website said the pictures you posted above were tagged “where we are Sept 28, 2012” Do you know if the dates wrong, has it been sitting for 6 years at this stage, it’s been completed?

Lots of not great work on the original nice to see it getting fixed. Rik you said it is currently being redone but the website said the pictures you posted above were tagged “where we are Sept 28, 2012” Do you know if the dates wrong, has it been sitting for 6 years at this stage, it’s been completed?
I might be wrong with the dates. I was told the pictures were recent…. but after your comment and reading more carefully I have to say that you are right and those photos are from 6 years ago. I have not seen any update from them since those photos were taken.
