ParticipantMindblowing cool roadster renderings , I really like the -48 Cadillac grilled one , looks like the -48 Cadillac front end is mated with a -47 Cadillac rear end with ALOT of custom shaped sheetmetal , I would like to see a matching -41 Cadillac rear bumper added thou !

KeymasterChris Piscitelli made a nice illustration of the SoCal Plating 1935 Ford.
“Some art work I’ve been working on lately has had me looking a lot at prewar customs. Arguably my favorite is the George DuVall designed ’35 Ford Custom Phaeton. As I was going down the rabbit hole onĀ @customcarchronicleĀ I saw an ad for a stock phaeton, and thought it’d be the perfect underlay for a comparative chicken scratch design study of DuVall’s vision. Purists might catch that I didn’t change the wheelbase the 12″ that the early Custom gained, but I didn’t want to run out of space on the page, (and it’s just a sketch after all.)”

Participantsorry for posting more on the above subject , last night I was in my shop tinkering away and saw this little gem I bought from a young guy (10years old) that was sellling his collection of toycars to raise money for his motocross purchase , I figured here is a kid with the right direction in life in need of support , lol ! So I purchased this and two other toycars , the fun part about this one is that it looks like Steve Stanfords rendering (besides the hidious high roof) , a twodoor 1953 Cadillac Seville that to my knollage never was created in real life ?? Or am I missing something ? Anywho here is two pictures of the toycar :
