    Very interesting story. Hopefully the Coachcraft Cadillac has a similar destiny and eventually will be found by somebody, hidden in a garage somewhere. Thanks for posting!

    Beautiful car…that side trim stopping in the middle of the body is a bit odd. Bohman and Schwartz did some gorgeous coachbuilding!

    Apparently they built a bunch of beautiful coachbuilt convertibles in this style back then and it is thrilling to think that there might still be survivors hidden away somewhere. Here is a 41 Buick I never seen before, two were built by Brunn and one of them was destroyed in a fire in the fifties.

    A friend just bought a 34 Lagonda drophead ( yeah lucky friend). Anyhow we were looked ng at Lagonda pics and I looked at the 38 Rapide and thought “ hey I’ve seen that design somewhere!”.
