I spotted this wonderful looking barn door panel van in an old black and white documentary.

It stated the location was CANADA and it seems that Canada had alot of cars only unique to there country.

An example was a 1936 Ford that was a panel van that had a roller door that went part way up into the roof.

Only a hand full were produced.

I was wondering if any one could I.D this Panel van….?

Would also be interested in seeing other unique cars built specific to Canada.

I wias thinking there must be some other unique body styles out there that would make great kustoms..?

The Meteor was one that is a good start to a “customized” Ford.

Luke, looks like Tony said, a 1937-1940 International D.  I have a photo of an example from Montreal, Canada, in the Crestline Books International Trucks volume.  I’m thinking it was bodied to be a police “paddy wagon”.  Another photo showed a schoolbus with similar form, operated by the Red Deer Valley Bus Line in Drumhella, Alberta, on a 3/4 to 1-Ton D-15 chassis.
