Advice on a chop please

Howdy everyone,

Looking at the chop on my chevy today and I’m not sure if there’s enough bracing going on and would appreciate everyone’s thoughts on it. Does it need more bracing and if so, what’s your thoughts on where?

It appears from the photos that the factory inner bracing was reinstalled. I’d say as long as the welds look good you will not have any issues. Some car manufactures had a structural support brace that was installed between the front bracing to the side top corner of the rear window inner structure. If you install another brace weld it to the inner structure only. If it is welded to the roof skin it could flex and tear the metal around the weld.
