This was the only example with a chopped carson top i had found. Although its a 40 Plymouth.
But nice to see the proportions.

49 plymouth bumpers also Look fantastic.

    Michu did a great Photoshop.

He Shortened the side moldings on the hood, cleaned some stuff, set the right stance, added Teardrop Skirts, appletons, Sombreros and 46 ford bumpers.

    He also reshaped the roofline.

I think this is the way i want to go.

    Never expected those great lines.

    Thanks again MichuIMG-20220116-WA0001

I think the teardrop skirts are not in harmony with the fender shape.

Hm, i think you’re right, my thought was it matches the roofline. But now, when i think it over, a box type skirt would look better probably. I will give it a try later!

    I just found/bought a set of 41 buick skirts.

So i guess it is decided😉

What a great find since they are already in Germany and were really cheap. Reeeeeally cheap….Screenshot_20220117-184450_eBay KleinanzeigenScreenshot_20220117-184443_eBay Kleinanzeigen

    Haha great Photoshop Michu.

Now throw those 41 buicks on?

I  maybe want to keep the moldings, but not sure about the trim. I know a lot of them had them on…

Yup! That’s great Michu! And those “new” Buick skirts look really good.

And now with the Buick skirts, i left the bottom trim off because it would lenghten the running board trim and bend the line upwards.

    That is awesome Michu.

I think i like it that way the most.

Skirts follow the lines of the trunk,  and in the rear they Fall down and match with the shape of the fender.

I also understand the point on the Runningboard and Fender trim

The next bargain i got is this 46-48 buick dash.

I dont really like the 40 Chrysler Dash, also a lot of parts are missing. So this was a great find. Although the Instruments are not included. I think i will delete the two smaller gauges anyway and only use the two big ones for a nice symetric look.Screenshot_20220130-183425_eBay Kleinanzeigen
