A friend and myself made it to the Autorama Sunday and wanted to share some photos. There were a number of pretty nicely done customs and great hot rods of cours and then a lot of “filler” of course. Several buildings that are normally used, which probably hold a 100 or more cars were vacant, so not as much as past years.
Was a beautiful day and got to visit with some old acquaintances too. I first went to this show when I was 7 years old, I’m almost 66. Seems strange to say that, I don’t feel that old!
Anyway here are some photos. If anyone wants more, let me know…

Zocchi had a new car to debut at the Oakland Roadster Show every year it seemed. I recall this one and many others. They were always a a new fresh take on Customs. Quite often built around body styles we would never dream could look so good. Always different. Always very cool, and well executed as Customs. Always masterfully done.

Especially the “Tent” building was spectacular from what I have seen. So thank you very much for those additional detail images of some of the cars in that building. Very nice. I love how they tried to display the cars like they used to do in the early 1950’s, with the hand painted show signs.Looks like a pretty good show for us Custom Car Enthusiasts.
Sad to read that some of the buildings were empty.
Enjoy the beauty of Customizing

It’s been several years since I’ve attended and didn’t know who had put together the tent. Well done guys!
This room definitely had the aura of early car shows. The layout, the feel, very cool.
As Rik said and I agree, the signage was brilliant. The cars there were great too.
A good show overall. 👌
