    1964 Custom Cadillac Pickup

    Originally it was a 1964 Cadillac Fleetwood Sixty Special (4 door sedan) but it custom coach built as a pickup (1964-cadillac-fleetwood-custom-a-pickup-made-by-our-workshop). It was a bit rusty but the paint was original, so nobody touched the chassis before (excluding that French car which caused some damage on the right front – that is why we cut off the back 🙂 ).

    Frame-off restoration and coach work! More than 4.000 workman hours in 2 years (not including the paint and upholstery job). This is “one and only” car, you will never see another Cadmino like this one!!!

    The bed has 2 compartments which can be closed. Original trunk for some small luggage, rear seats place for air ride’s tank, compressor and the car’s battery. Water spout for drainage at every opening parts. It is strong enough to carry my custom Harley or almost anything (it has got 6 points to stabilize load). Under the sheet iron bed there is a hollow section frame to carry the weight.

    Driveline (including all related parts, engine and transmission built in 2008):
    Direct air through K&N air filters, dual 4” flexible air pipes to Spectre 98599 Low Profile Dual Plenum on the Holley 82760 carburetor (vacuum secondary, no choke)
    472cui Cadillac Engine has got Edelbrock Performer manifold, COMP Cams camshaft and Main girdle combo kit (from 500cid.com – Rear sump pan, Pick up, Main girdle, Main studs & nuts, Crank scraper, Windage tray)
    Modified GM TH350 Transmission (with lock-up) has a lot of TCI and other branded performance parts
    Cadillac controlled differential (Posi/Limited Slip)

    Brake and Suspension:
    4 disc brakes (GM). Line lock switch for the front brakes to make tyre burnout (Be careful with the air bags! 🙂 )
    ½” air ride system with 4pcs 7″ Slam Specialties air bags (200psi, 8” stroke).
    8.5gal air tank
    4 GC 350 Xtreme (450psi) air valves
    Viair 480c air compressor (200psi)
    Dual needle gauge for rear and front pressure
    Single needle gauge for tank pressure at the tank
    Limited to 145psi for suspension and lower pressure goes to Hadley air horn
    Air ride does not prepared for side tilt, but I have enough spare valves to modify it
    Works also with remote
    Through quick coupling you can attach any air tool

    Before the body work I had been using this car for 6 years.
    Mileage is not relevant to the odometer.
    No air condition. Car audio is original or you can listen the V8.
