How did I miss this one previously? Looks good to me as well. I’m always happy when someone not only has the end goal…but also the eye, the ability and determination to see it through.. Impressive work for your first entry into both the restoration and then the world of customising.
Don’t worry, we all run into roadblocks.
What is the best about this forum is that if you run into drama, post it up and let the brain’s  trust think about it too. (I do it all the time cos I’m not very intelligent.)Sometimes I step back from one problem and go onto something else until the answer is resolved. But the most important advice is “ keep at it” . If you muck something up don’t worry. You can cut it out and do it again. Often you have to do it wrong to understand how to do it right
I love the Art Deco House in the pic.

So the rear window is moved forward and I changed the rear window angle. Here a picture taken from the garage. It will be rolled out tomorrow to check if it looks better.

It takes a time to understand what is ment. It would of been easier to help out and follow someone with the knowledge and learn this art from customising.
But everybody had to start from zero.
Thanks to all of you.

When I did my car I cut the whole roof all the way to the tail pan in one piece. I did it this way to keep the flow of the roof and trunk.
When I lined up the A pillars, the lower end of the trunk opening was nearly 2 inches forward. For me that was okay because the metal below that was rusty anyway, so I reconstructed the whole area to suit. I also slated the B pillars.
By coincidence I posted a link to these ancient pictures in my last post in my sloper thread.

March 30, 2020 at 10:14 #66759LinesParticipantHere is the latest picture from the weekend after the roll out. The roof is moved forward a bit to make a better line up with the trunk corners and make it a bit longer too. In the first picture the end of the trunk is abit higher in compare withe picture 2.

The roof is back on and welded back together. This step took ages for me since I checked every mesurments over and over. In the end I had a headache thinking abouit evrything thing that you are on the right way and didn’t foreget anything. Nervous step but I think it came out pretty good.
