Okay, the engine goes, now onto something different. Filling bumpers. It’s an old thing and people have said I should do it…and I agree.
Cut out some shapes. The rear will get removable polished stainless ones because I have blinkers in there that will need to be accessible. Front are thicker material to be welded.

Old Jaguars had overriders like this, with the back closed off, Always thought it was a nice touch.

The rears will be like this, removeable for access to blinkers. They are stainless and will be polished. I’ll tweak the gappage when I do the prep prior to plating.

    Tony’s in the details!

Those subtle details are the signature touch in making a work “yours”, aren’t they.

Nice touch Tony. I’ve done the same for my 41 Buick. Removable, just chromed instead of stainless steel. I love the look!</p>
And nice work as usual Tony.

Yes, little things. I’m at an in between stage now so I’m doing some of those little detaily things. Having said that, they’re still time consuming!

Hopefully I’ll have some more post worthy stuff. If you count wires and seatbelts. (ha ha)

Very nice, Tony.Ā  Battery location dilemma solved.Ā  And a very sanitary, compact system going there.
