Stare at it for a while, you´ll figure it out! The height and window shape looks like they´ll be spot on. The window almost exactly matched what I drew up, though the rear deck may have to be a tick higher than we thought.

Whilst you have the template can you delete the Saab body easily so it’s not like one of those 3d dot patterns , that if you stare at it cross eyed long enough you see a naked woman holding a tire iron?

November 12, 2019 at 21:32 #65549TonyParticipantJames, what did you scale from? Wheel diameter? Just curious.
November 12, 2019 at 22:03 #65550Quentin HallParticipantWheelbase of both Tony.
all the issues seem resolvable at this early stage. Convertible top pivot point intrudes about 4 inches forward and inboard  of the b pillar door edge. …. but so will pantograph hinge mech lower down. But long doors and being a two seater that shouldn’t be a drama. A day with the grinder and some wood chocks and a tape measure will reveal all…. in a few weeks.November 15, 2019 at 10:15 #65582Rik HovingKeymasterQuentin Hall wrote….
“Trial fitted the cut down grille blades yesterday. PITA to assemble but it all went together well… eventually. Louvres open as factory however I won’t have them opening off a thermostat on the radiator. A choke cable on the dash will be better. It took two and a half cars worth of bars to get a good set. I still have enough to make a shorter again hotrod grille later.”
Enjoy the beauty of Customizing
November 15, 2019 at 10:52 #65583Quentin HallParticipantMight have to put my two Packard Sixes in-line cos I had the mistake of going on US eBay whilst I waited on my Perth flight this morning and found these 39 caps for $75 US with postage adds up to $270Australian. But they are very cool. But Perth <span style=”-webkit-tap-highlight-color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);”>isn’t cool at 39 degrees!!!  Baked beans for dinner all week and I’m banned from eBay!</span>

November 15, 2019 at 18:41 #65586Mild MitchParticipantI have sent stuff down your way, and postage and travel time is insane! Lots of $$$ and Weeeeeks!
Might be easier to fly someone down there with these caps!
