    Pretty impressive progress Quentin!

Are you sure that ‘floor’ metal is thick enough? Maybe a lot of swages ’cause it’s thin?

The “new” trunk lid looks like a natural fit! Amazing. Great progress in a short time, I am having almost as much fun watching as you are building.

Last day before back to work!!!! ….. ugggh . But I managed to get one side of the hood sides operating perfectly ( it fought me for a couple of hours. I could only afford one 8 ft length and the middle took 3ft and the long side took the rest.
it bows out in the middle and tapers away at the ends so alignments was critical….. but it works perfectly.53808486-DD32-41E6-8FA5-B8FA86E5803E

Off to Perth tomorrow morning for two weeks, DC2A7433-C0E5-451E-974F-FA770D8B0405Ā but I squeezed a couple of hours this afternoon to clean up the rear guard. Made the inner piece and welded it up.

Last night I was scrolling F222AAAB-96BC-4BBE-91B7-96BF4F999AEFĀ through the US Packard Facebook page and found a post of a circa 1950 pic of a camping ground and a Ā 39 120. I looked closer and saw the Victorian 363 plate and then noticed the RAC badge on the bumper. My car has a hole in the middle of the bumper!!! Itā€™sa Black Car!!!! It has to be my car!!!!

My mate Ross who follows low digit number plates quickly found that itā€™s still in circulation. Would be great to get it back…. only hiccup is itā€™s now a $100000 number plate!!! Iā€™m not joking!!!21BCEAB4-C78F-47ED-89D0-9EFB3627AD65

A3FE5881-2A44-4541-9FF3-80DBDAADA633Found a $25 Franklin Mint 40 Darrin. I actually love the burgundy. Good to hold it in 3 dimensions. So I wondered what the 2 seater proportions will look like. So I hammered up a hard boot and I think I like it. I love the roll around the back of the seat. I donā€™t even mind the full volume of the rear…. kind of like a power bulge.
