A while ago Alfredo Virgen hired me to do a few concept designs for a project he had just bought. A 1939 four door Lincoln Zephyr.

The plan was to create a good looking 40’s style Custom from it, an see if it could stay as a four door, and not convert it to a two door. Alfredo has a young family, and he likes the idea of having the four doors.

Several concepts were created with Digital Restyling and eventually he picked a four door design with the trunk laid forward, and extended a but as a mix between a regular convertible and sedan. with a long low padded top.  (The actual Digital Restyled image will be shown later.)

VooDoo Larry has just started the project of removing the top, lay the trunk forward and soon will be working on chopping the windshield and reshaping the top of the windshield to make it look like a regular convertible.

And I made some comments to keep them on the right track… will see what happens…

With the modifications done as mentioned, the windshield can be chopped an inch more, and the side windows will stay like its created with the rod on the car….
