1951 Barris Study Trip Part 4

STUDY TRIP PART 4

George Barris his 1951 Car Design Study Trip took him to several European countries. Here he took many snapshots of cars with fresh new ideas. Which inspired him for the Custom Cars to be built after returning to Los Angeles.

In this fourth part of the 1951 Study trip by George Barris we share you some more of the car related snapshots George took on this trip. The photos show how George was visiting several work shops and captured how the European shops created these beautiful cars. Other photos look like George was wandering around in the cities he visited spotting cars with interesting shapes ideas and overall designs he figured could be used back home on future custom cars to be built by the Barris Shop. All photos by George Barris.

Take a look at part ONE,  TWO or part THREE of the 1951 Barris European Study Trip article’s on the CCC.
