The Kustomrama site is run by two brothers from Norway and one of the guys, Olav Kvipt is in California for a three year study plan. In his spare time he is flowing every lead he finds that could bring him interesting Custom Car info and leads to photo collections.
The first material from his Custom Car Quest are being shared on the Kustomrama site as part of their Photo Collections. We sure are looking forward to whatever they will find and share in the coming years.

Check out some amazing 1940’s Custom Car photos from the Jim Kierkstead Photo Collection on the Kustomrama site.

Below are two of these amazing photos showing an very early mildly customized 1941 Buick owned by a young George Barris.
Later George would  chop the windshield, ad full fade away fenders and have a wonderful padded top installed. This Barris Buick is often seen as the real start of the famous Barris Kustoms Career.

From the Kustomrama Collection.
