Hello Mark, Welcome.
What a great early 60’s styled Falcon.
Very nice, would not mind seeing a few more photos of it.Enjoy the beauty of Customizing
October 21, 2015 at 19:51 #31052Paul RiouxParticipantJust joined today. Is an introduction required? I’ve been on the HAMB for over 10 years now. My car, a 1941 Chevy coupe, would be considered a mild custom so it belongs here more so. Lowered in front and back with a very slight reverse rake like they did in the forties, I suppose. See attached picts.
Anyway, thanks to Rik for putting this site together!

No need for an official introduction on the CCC.
Your 41 looks really great, like something that could have rolled out straight from the 40’s.Did you see the article we did on an old Barris Chevy a few weeks ago. It is a similar mild custom as yours…
Check it out HERE.

LarryFebruary 18, 2016 at 03:47 #34930BrentParticipantThis looks like a good site to share information on rods 7 customs.
I just got my black 50 Shoebox aka Bette Noire = on the road a few days ago, spent the winter rebuilding the 8BA with all the best internals that i could find; Scat crank and rods, Isky maxi cam, SS valves, adjustable tappets, dual Super 97’s on an Offie manifold
Then hooked to a T5 World Class transmission , lowered with disc brakes in front, Maverick rear end
Replacing the tie rods and asst junk tomorrow then paint. Then theres my daily driver: yellow 49 Ford panel aka Chiquita, she’s on a 88 Suburban frame and running gear, 350 injected with 700R transmission.
keep up the good work
March 1, 2016 at 14:59 #35513DernParticipantNew guy here and I’m on the HAMB but I think this is where I belong. Started in the late 50’s building a 29 Ford Tudor and just completed my last project a 1948 Ford F1 custom. If I’m on the wrong forum let me know.
April 12, 2016 at 13:31 #36886Jeff LudwigParticipantHappy to be a small part of this. Glad so many like customs. I can share some pics. of the Dick Kohl 39 Ford I recently purchased in the near future. Thanks Rik.
April 12, 2016 at 13:37 #36889Rik HovingKeymasterWelcome Brent, Dern and Jeff… hope you guys will have a great time here.
Jeff, thank your for the new photos of that Matthews Garage build 1939 Ford Coupe… I had already shown some photos of it here and the CCC readers all loved it very much. Such a great chop.. and these new photos show even better how nice that car is. Really looking forward to see your get to work on it.
