On the morning of September 24th I drove my ’32 3 window coupe up to Conway, Washington, which is a small town north of where I live, for the Swindlers Poker Run.
The weather was nice and when I entered the main street I was greeted to a sight of many cool traditional rods and customs.
Cars were driven from all over the Northwest and Canada to take part in the annual poker run through the back roads of Skagit and Whatcom counties. We ended up in Mt Vernon in the late afternoon after cruising to some scenic spots and hanging out with lots of great people.
I am already looking forward to next year!

Here are some of the photos I took. Enjoy.

The blue 1949 Cadillac convertible was chopped by Donn Lowe. It has a folding convertible top and nice subtle looks too.

I was looking at that Caddy…. Very nice proportions.

Looks like hoe GM should have done it in the first place.

Donn did a great job… as usual.

Thanks for the great photos Tom.

Great pics of what looks like a nice, laid-back event Tom. I like ’em all, but that amber model A is sweetness!

p.s. which Deuce is yours? Is it in any of the pics?

Yes, that Model A is very cool and has a great early sixties look! My coupe is shown over the four-carbed Olds engine in the second picture. It is the third black car in the row of motorcycles and three black hot rods.

Ahh, basic black, red steelies and all it’s fenders – nice ride Tom!

Thanks for sharing! Good to see the cars and faces, brings back all the memories. Paul’s shop still going strong, Keith Bailey in one picture. Sam, Keith, and Erik’s cars… Right on! Swindlers Rules GFY!
