I like the rear quarter windows both ways. Working swing windows are more practical, I remember Palle had them open a lot of the times allowing some cool air to make the drive more comfortable. As for the looks I do like the fixed look, as Wolf mentioned. The lines flow just a bit nicer.
Makes me wonder why the new owner fixed them.. perhaps they leaked?
I also noticed they added some new smooth moon hubcaps… which look a little to old for the car in my opinion. But that chop is just soooooo nice.

October 11, 2016 at 06:25 #43824Rik HovingKeymasterFrom my dear friend (and CCC-Member) Per Webb’s facebook.
After 35 years in the custom car hobby and with ten years running my magazine business it might be time for me, Per Webb, to begin with some marketing activities. My company, Iron Productions, is a provider of photography, journalism and graphic content to automotive magazines. Special competence areas are early custom cars, coachbuilt cars, vintage luxury cars and sports cars. During these years I have been a regular provider of magazine features to several Swedish magazines, with Gasoline Magazine as my main and monthly customer.
Based in Sweden I also work on international basis with customers in countries as USA, France, England and Australia. The current cars in the header, Palle Johansen’s Lincoln and Clark Devey’s Ford, serve as good examples of the kind of vehicles that I focus on in my photography and writing, but in some extent I do also work featuring other types of vehicles. However, not modern heavy trucks or buses as it will interfere with my other profession as being an employee at Scania CV AB.Sample pictures of cars that I have photographed for Gasoline Magazine.

October 13, 2016 at 12:50 #43915Bert GustafssonParticipantCan’t remember if this nice sport custom has been posted on here before. Anyway, it was posted on forgotten sport customs on FB yesterday with no other information than that the current owner bought it from the builders son in 2011 and that it was built in 1953.
October 13, 2016 at 12:53 #43916Rik HovingKeymasterNeat Sports Custom… Must have been fun driving that around back in 1953… or today

Absolutely, I can easily visualize myself driving down the road in an open sport custom wearing a white captain’s hat.

October 20, 2016 at 12:57 #44156Rik HovingKeymasterPaul Garland’s 41 Ford Convertible.
I did some background cleanup work on the original photo taken by “JadeIdol”. It was such a great photo, but the modern cars ruined the scene a bit.Enjoy the beauty of Customizing
