THE CUSTOM CAR CHRONICLE: THE BEAUTY OF CUSTOMIZING
This online custom car magazine is created by an international team of custom car and hot rod enthusiasts. This initiative started in 2004 with the legendary Custom Car Photo Archive founded by our Editor in Chief, Custom Car historian Rik Hoving.
WHAT
The Custom Car Chronicle is about design, perfect proportions, the right feeling, the history and a lot of other small, big and bigger things that inspired people to built beautiful cars for decades. We have created an online environment where people can find inspiration, search for historic details, or just have a good time sharing their own stories and material with other people who share the same passion.
Yes, it says ‘Custom Cars Chronicle’, but it is about both custom cars and hot rods. Because (like ivory and ebony) they’ve belonged together since they were first created. There is ample attention for fashion, design, model cars, architecture and photograpy. Well actually everything that fits in to the broad realm of car design.
AUDIENCE
Custom Car Chronicle wants to be the place for everybody who sees the beauty in custom cars, hot rods and design. We’re writing for the connoisseur and the newby and hope everybody feels welcome. We invite everybody to participate on these pages and on the Forum and hope it’s going to be a very inspiring place.
OUR MISSION
It is our mission to make the world even more beautiful and to inspire our audience with the beauty of customizing. We aim to be an inspiring place with lots of information on custom cars, hot rods, model cars, design, books, movies, boats, photography, art and architecture.

The team members are located in the United States, Australia and Europe. But the Custom Car Chronicle is operated from the headquarter located in the Netherlands. You can find us here
